Stepping Stone Preschool and Childcare Centre will provide a stimulating and safe environment for children ages 18 months to 12 years. Licensed for up to 36 children, Stepping Stone will be the fun, affordable childcare centre alternative with the best quality you can find in town. We seek to stimulate and develop children’s problem-solving and reactive thinking skills through staff and child directed activities.

Stepping Stone to Success Award
About: Every year we give a $200.00 bursary to a graduating student from the Early Childhood Education Course at NSCC Kingstec Campus-the award is called Stepping Stone to Success Award.
For: graduating students at NSCC Kingstec Campus
The Book Mobile
About: The Book Mobile visits the Centre every 3 weeks, bringing us wonderful books to read.
For: all ages.
When: Every three weeks.
Elementary Graduation Ceremony
About: Graduation Ceremony in the spring (for children attending Elementary School in September).
For: Elementary school children.
When: Every springtime.
Community Helpers
About: Community Helpers visit the Centre (RCMP Officers, Paramedics, Dentist,Recycling robot, etc.)
For: All ages.
The Maritime Centre for African Dance
About: The Maritime Centre for African Dance visited our Centre and taught the Children African dance and drumming .
For: All ages.
